Kiruphema: Untimely death of Lt. Miasalhou a grave loss to region, says KGC

The Kiruphema General Council (KGC) has emphasised the need for a thorough investigation and prompt prosecution of those responsible for the death of Late. Kezhalelie Lawrence Miasalhou, a prominent leader of the Western Angami region and the current political assistant to the Deputy Commissioner of Kohima.

“It is imperative that all necessary legal actions are taken without hesitation to ensure that justice is served,” KGC stated in strong condemnation.

Furthermore, the Council appealed to all individuals and groups to refrain from interfering with the authorities’ procedures in this matter. It is crucial that the investigative and legal processes are allowed to proceed unhindered to achieve justice and maintain order.

The KGC also affirmed its commitment to supporting the authorities in their efforts to bring the culprits to justice and to ensure the safety and security of the community.

Expressing its deepest condolences to his family and loved ones, the Kiruphema General Council said that Eno. Kezhalelie Lawrence Miasalhou was known for his dedicated service and significant contributions to the community and that his untimely death is a grave loss to the region.
