An ICSSR sponsored Ten-Day Research Methodology Course (RMC) in Social Sciences was successfully conducted by the Department of Sociology, Nagaland University from 21st – 31st May 2024 informed a press release by PRO Nagaland University.
The Valedictory programme was held at the Conference Hall, Department of Sociology, NU, Lumami Campus, chaired by Dr. Sandeep Gupta. Deliberating on the reflection of the course, Dr. Dipika Paul, Course Co-Director, has informed that the organisers received an overwhelming number of applicants from across the country.

During the course, resource persons hailing from various premier institutions delivered lectures. Prof. M.S. Rawat, Dean of Sciences, NU, graced the occasion as the Guest of Honour. In his speech, he appreciated the organisers’ efforts to conduct the course meticulously. He called all the participants to enhance their research skills for a successful career.
Prof. Athungo Ovung, Course Director, presented the closing remarks for this program. In his address, he thanked ICSSR for sponsoring the course and the Nagaland University authority for their support.The valedictory event was attended by the Director, RDC, faculty members from various departments, officers, and research scholars in the university.
