Wokha: Resource persons highlight different types of entries for different branches of IAF, selection process, benefits

The IQAC and Career Guidance Cell of Mount Tiyi College organised an Indian Air Force (IAF) Agniveervayu recruitment awareness outreach program in collaboration with Airmen Selection Centre Guwahati on 23rd July 2024, informed the Publicity and Media Cell, Mount Tiyi College, Wokha.

Resource persons from Airmen Selection Centre, Guwahati Amarnath Gupta, Junior Warrant Officer and Sunil Kumar, Senior Non Commission Officer sensitised the students about various career opportunities in the Indian Air Force.

The resource persons highlighted on different types of entries for different branches of the IAF, the selection process, and monetary and other benefits like accommodation, medical facilities, insurance schemes, etc.

A detailed presentation was made on the Agnipathscheme/Agniveervayu, focussing on the terms and conditions of the scheme, minimum educational requirements, mandatory medical standards, rank structure, and perks.

The technical session was followed by an interactive session where student participants who responded to questions were presented with gifts.
