Following threats of death penalty by the NSCN-K (Khango) to an Angami contractor, and failure of the group to retract their statement, several organisations has extended solidarity to the Angami Youth Organization (AYO).
The Northern Angami Students’ Union (NASU) has extended its solidarity with the Angami Youth Organisations (AYO) resolution and in particular with Kezhaleo Rülho, proprietor KKB Rülho against whom the death penalty was issued. NASU strongly condemned what it considered an “act of cowardness” by the so called Nation- worker (Naga army) NSCN-(K) Khango group,
“When as Naga we are fighting our way towards peace, harmony and progress, amidst such uncalled threatening of life towards a reputed Contractor, a God fearing man and a cheerful social figure shall never be accepted in a civilised society, such act has physically paralyzed and mentally tortured Rülho extensively,” stated the NASU.
As a concern Students organisation with a common aspiration and equal contribution in nation building, the NASU stated that it will continue to render its service to protect, promote and pursue its citizens. Expressing its stance against such intimidations, the NASU said it will showcase all its strengths against such unwanted elements that tries to manipulate and break the peaceful co-existence within our people.

The Rengma Selo Zi (RSZ) also expressed its distress and condemnation over the recent threat of capital punishment issued by the NSCN-K (Khango) group to one of the prominent citizen from Angami community.
“Such acts of intimidation and violence have no place in our society and it undermines the unity and peace that the Nagas strive and long to achieve. We commend the Angami Youth Organization for its courageous stance in the face of this menace. The AYO’s resolved to stand up against such threats is not only a testament to their principles but also an inspiration to all conscious keepers committed to justice and the rule of law,” stated the RSZ.
It reiterated Its support for the principle of One Government – One Taxation, as a crucial step towards achieving lasting peace and unity among the Naga people. At this critical juncture, when solidarity and mutual support are paramount, the RSZ highlighted importance of discouraging any form of ultimatums or divisive actions that threaten the communal harmony.
“We urge all factions and organizations to engage in constructive dialogue and cooperation, fostering an environment of understanding and respect. Only through collective efforts we can aspire to overcome the challenges that confronts the Naga people and build a future grounded in peace, unity and progress. Kuknalim,” asserted the RSZ.
