The Deputy Commissioner Kohima has informed that due to road blockage caused by landslide, the vehicular traffic at Chainage KM 15+300 of National Highway-29 Kohima-Jessami Package-1 (Kohima-Chakhama Road), is limited to one vehicle at a time.

DC Kumar Ramnikant, IAS, also stated in the Advisory that the clearing of debris is underway and advised the commuters on the said route to exercise caution as occurrence of further landslides at the location cannot be ruled out.
