Along with the rest of Nation, the Noklak District Athletics Association (NDAA)  celebrated National Javelin Day on August 7 at Noklak Public ground .  The event was organised by the NDAA in collaboration with Nagaland Athletics Association (NAA) & Athletics Federation of India (AFI) to commemorate India’s first Olympic Gold Medal in Athletics that was won by Neeraj Chopra during Tokyo Olympics 2020.

The NDAA  marked the occasion with Javelin throw competition for U-12 , U-14 & U-16 (Boys & Girls) with a total number of 92 participants , 47 girls and 45 boys from various schools showing great sportsmanship spirit.
