The District Child Protection Unit (DCPU) staff along with Yangthriba Sangtam, DCPO visited Bethel children home Tuensang Town on August 9, 2024.

During the visit Yangthriba Sangtam, District Child Protection Officer interacted with the children and talked about the differences between staying in a children’s home and with their guardians. He encouraged the children to be obedient, as it is one of the basic necessity and requirement of an individual’s daily life, and without it there is no reward.

Obeying God, respecting teachers and friends should be the first priority, as good behaviour and morale can help them make better and informed decisions through the knowledge and care they receive from the administrator and teachers who regard them as privileged children, Sangtam said.
