CM Neiphiu Rio awards Governor’s Gold Medal & Commendation Certificate to various officers on 78th Independence Day

On the occasion of the 78th Independence Day on August 15, 2024, Chief Minister Neiphiu Rio awarded the Governor’s Gold Medal and Governor’s Commendation Certificate to various officers and staff from different departments for their dedication and contributions. The ceremony took place at the Nagaland Civil Secretariat Plaza in Kohima.

Rio handed over the Governor’s Gold Medal to Dr. Sentitula, IFS, DFO Mokokchung which was announced on the Republic Day 2024.

During the program, Police Medal for meritorious service and Governor’s Gold Medal was also announced on the occasion of Independence Day 2024.

Governor’s Commendation Certificate was also announced and the CM, Neiphiu Rio gave away the Governor’s Commendation Certificate to the following awardees:

  1. Alongia Aler, Operations Manager, Nagaland Health Protection Society was awarded the Governor’s Commendation Certificate for her exceptional dedication and contributions towards the implementation of PM-JAY and CMHIS.
  2. Khenpa, NCS, EAC, Aghunaqa, was awarded the Governor’s Commendation Certificate for his outstanding contribution rendered for maintenance of peace and harmony in the Assam-Nagaland Border and in administration of the District.
  3. Mimi Kevichusa Ezung, Associate Professor, Nagaland University was awarded the Governor’s Commendation Certificate for her commendable contributions in the field of linguistic development of the various State recognised languages of Nagaland. Senilo Magh, Medical Officer, District Hospital, Tuensang was awarded the Governor’s Commendation Certificate for his exceptional and sincere contribution for the overall development and progress of the district hospital.
  4. B. Akala, Senior Computer Programmer, PIMS, P&AR Dept. was awarded the Governor’s Commendation Certificate for her dedication in implementing the Personal Information Management System (PIMS).
  5. Asela Seth Sangtam, NSS, Section Officer, SAB-B, Home Dept.
    She was awarded the Governor’s Commendation Certificate for her innovations and tireless effort to streamline and bring about positive and healthy working environment in the department.
  6. Lansothung Lotha, Forest Range Officer, Doyang Beat, Dept. of EF&CC. was awarded the Governor’s Commendation Certificate for his contribution in conceptualizing, initiating and developing several noteworthy projects.
  7. Manba Phom, Duftry, Directorate of Art & Culture was awarded the Governor’s Commendation Certificate for sincerely and diligently discharging his duties as a Grade-IV staff for over a period of 30 years.
