Innovation in Outsourcing and Marketing Value and Multi Skill Development Production Unit, under the Directorate of Employment, Skill Development & Entrepreneurship, was launched at Longleng today. The centre will be implemented by Kivong-Kivheli Foundation under the guidance and supervision of the Directorate of ESD&E. The Unit was dedicated by N. Tialemba Phom, Executive Secretary, Phom Baptist Christian Association.
Deputy Commissioner Longleng, W. Manpai Phom, NCS, and Special Guest of the event, congratulated and acknowledged the Foundation for the initiatives, and mentioned on some crucial aspects towards potential management of skill and its purpose. He stated that for a society to move forward, various aspects should be focused to reach its full potential and stated that emphasis on alternative measures or better avenues should be made on any issue.
The Deputy Commissioner encouraged the trainees and beneficiaries that any skill should be viewed with its relevance in our eco-system. He also emphasized on the importance of maximizing the number of sale units and minimizing on price.
Chairperson of Kivong-Kivheli Foundation, P. Angbhenla Phom, acknowledged the Deputy Commissioner and Executive Secretary for their contribution towards the success of the programme. She informed the gathering that the project was sanctioned under the initiative of the Chief Minister of Nagaland, Neiphiu Rio, through the Department of Planning & Transformation.
She also introduced the program mapping details to be activated in zone wise in the district. Outsourcing and market linkage shop concept in the district was explained for further initiation.
The programme was chaired by secretary of KKF, Alemla Phom and invocation was pronounced by Hennyei Phom, Associate Pastor, Muli Baptist Church. The programme was attended by Civil Societies from the district, special invitees, trainers and trainees.
