The Rising People’s Party (RPP) has expressed profound sorrow and condolences on the demise of D. Yaden, wife of Lt. L.L Yaden, IAS (Rtd.), and mother of Geoffrey Yaden, Editor of Nagaland Post. Her passing leaves a void in the lives of countless individuals and organizations she touched through her selfless service, it stated.

Remembering Yaden’s remarkable life which was characterized by tireless dedication, compassion, and leadership, RPP mentioned that her outstanding contributions to social welfare, education, and community development have had a lasting impact on the state of Nagaland. Her commitment to empowering women, children, and marginalized communities inspired a generation of social workers and community leaders, it added.

Further, RPP stated that late Yaden’s notable achievements include founding the Nagaland Women’s Welfare Association, establishing the first children’s home in Dimapur, spearheading the literacy program for rural women, and serving as a member of the Nagaland State Commission for Women.

The RPP extended its heartfelt condolences to her family, friends, and loved ones and prayed for comfort and solace to the bereaved family during this difficult time.

“May Mrs. Yaden’s soul rest in eternal peace, and may her example continue to inspire us to work towards a better world for all,” the Rising People’s Party prayed.
