MGM College holds 3rd graduation ceremony

MGM College, Dimapur, marked a significant milestone with the celebration of its 3rd Graduation Ceremony on September 21. The event, held in the college auditorium, was a grand occasion, bringing together graduates, faculty, and dignitaries to honor the achievements of the Class of 2024, informed a press release by the college.

The ceremony was graced by the esteemed presence of C. Khalong Ao, former Director of Higher Education, Government of Nagaland, who served as the Guest of Honour. In his keynote address, Ao delivered on the theme of “going the extra mile.” He drew from his vast personal and professional experiences to share motivational stories that not only shaped his journey as an educator but also encouraged the graduates to aim higher and pursue excellence in every aspect of their lives.

The event commenced with the official inauguration by Dr. R. K. Behera, Acting Principal of MGM College. Following the opening, Fr. Giju George, the College Administrator, delivered a heartfelt welcome address, setting the tone for a day of celebration and reflection. The presence of several distinguished members of the college’s governing body added further dignity to the occasion, making it a truly memorable event.

As part of the ceremony, graduates were honored with certificate and memento in recognition of their academic achievements. A highlight of the event was the special recognition of Imyatetla Imsong, who was named the College Topper who received her award from the chief guest.

“The ceremony concluded with resounding applause, celebrating the successful convocation of the Class of 2024. The day marked not just an end, but the beginning of a new chapter for the graduates as they step into the future, equipped with the knowledge and values instilled by MGM College. The event was widely regarded as a resounding success, reaffirming MGM College’s commitment to academic excellence and the holistic development of its students,” mentioned the press release.
