The Combined Annual Training (CATC-72) commenced at Sainik School Punglwa in Nagaland on 11 October 2024. 177 cadets from St. Joseph College, Jakhama, Tetso College Dimapur, Dimapur Government College, Peren Government College and Modern College, Piphema are participating, informed PRO & Spokesperson, Ministry of Defence, Manipur, Nagaland and Southern Arunachal Pradesh.

The camp was inaugurated by Officer Comanding Lt Col Amit Chaudhary, while addressing the cadets, he emphasized upon the importance of fostering teamwork, discipline and leadership among participants.

During the 10 days, till 20 October, the cadets will under go vigorous training as per the NCC curriculum to include drill, firing, map reading, camp siting, first aid in addition sports and cultural events are also planned.
