The Indian Red Cross Society, Nagaland State Branch (IRCSN), launched a new sub-branch in Pfutsero, Phek District, on 2nd November 2024.

Akhale V. Khamo, General Secretary of IRCSN, graced the event as the Special Guest. In her address, Khamo spoke on the Red Cross’s history and Fundamental Principles, and highlighted the importance of the Youth and Junior Red Cross in fostering community service among young people.

The new Pfutsero Sub-Branch will enhance IRCSN’s reach in the region, offering health services, emergency response, and youth engagement programs to support local communities.
