The Deputy Commissioner, Kohima, Kumar Ramnikant, IAS, has directed all Petrol Pumps along the National Highways and around Kohima district to maintain drinking water facility and toilet facilities that are accessible to the general public round the clock.

The DC noted that restrooms and toilet facilities in petrol pumps in the district are not being properly maintained/ standardized/ well-maintained.

The Order further stated that defaulters would be penalized as per appropriate Section of law.
