Prime Super Mart, a franchise of Buy Buy Cart, was officially inaugurated in Wokha today by Habenthung P. Ezung, Councillor and in-charge of trade permits at Wokha Town Council (WTC), who graced the occasion as the special guest.

In his address, Ezung described the opening of Prime Super Mart as a festive gift to the town, highlighting the high-quality shopping experience it promises to offer, akin to those found in Delhi or Mumbai, all from the comfort of home. He also welcomed the store’s initiative to provide free home delivery for orders amounting to a minimum of Rs. 500 within a five-kilometre radius. This service, he noted, would be a first for Wokha and a significant benefit for the local community.

Ezung further emphasized that the launch of such establishments creates opportunities for locals, particularly in the form of employment. He encouraged educated youth to explore entrepreneurial ventures and to contribute to the growth of local businesses. He also invited young entrepreneurs to register their trade permits with WTC, which would offer fee concessions as part of its support.

Extending Christmas greetings, Ezung wished the proprietors success and urged them to maintain excellent customer service while also contributing to the community’s welfare.

David Jami, the proprietor, provided details about the store’s offerings, which include over 800 products, with discounts ranging from 5 to 50 percent. He explained that Prime Super Mart is a joint venture aimed at delivering high-quality products and services not only to the residents of Wokha but also to visitors. Jami also introduced the Buy Buy Cart app, available on the Play Store, which allows customers to place orders online, a feature that he believes makes Prime Super Mart the first store in Nagaland to offer such a service.

The store was dedicated by Rev. Nzio Ezung, Senior Pastor of the A.G. Church in Wokha, during a brief programme attended by family, friends, and well-wishers. The event was chaired by Daniel Murry, co-proprietor of Prime Super Mart.
