“It may be brought to the notice of the general public that all the civil works under JJM Scheme is being supervised and successfully implemented by the respective Village WATSAN and is now awaiting for the release of the pending bills for the works completed. Be it known that, should the concerned Ministry hold fund of the remaining amount due to be paid to the WATSAN committees, the so called NTPRADAO will be held responsible and all pending bills will have to be borne by them. Since, the WATSAN committee had executed and completed the works under no circumstances we will remain idle and allow the unmandated organization to victimized the WATSAN Committees and tarnish the image of PHE department,” cautioned the committee in a press statement issued on December 16.

It also informed that the press statement was made as per an emergency meeting of the aggrieved WATSAN Chairmen held on December 16, 2024 in Dimapur.
