The second day of the Aai Sagi Mini Hornbill Tribal Festival 2025, organized by the Mech Kachari Public Organisation (MKPON), was held at the Kachari Community Playground in Kushiabill Darogajan Village, Dimapur. The festival showcased the rich heritage and traditions of the Mech Kachari community under the aegis of the Department of Tourism, Nagaland and the Kachari Tribal Council, Nagaland.
The day commenced with a warm welcome address by Dharma Dhaj Sonowal, General Secretary of MKPON. Special Guest Krishna Mech, Councillor, East Dimapur Town Council, Dimapur, Nagaland, graced the occasion with her presence and delivered an inspiring address.

The program featured a captivating cultural display by the Naharbari Cultural Troupe, the Garo Cultural Troupe, and the Dimasa Cultural Troupe, showcasing the diverse and vibrant cultural tapestry of the region. The festival also included a short speech by S.K. Khemprai, Advisor, KTCN, who shared insights on the significance of preserving and promoting cultural heritage.
The afternoon session of the second day followed, concluding the Aai Sagi Mini Hornbill Tribal Festival 2025 on a high note. The festival served as a platform to showcase the unique identity and cultural richness of the Mech Kachari community, fostering a sense of pride and unity among the community members.
