The final day of league action at the ongoing Lotha Football Championship (LFC 2025) concluded on 17 January 2025 at the Public Ground, Wokha. The final day of the league matches featured four exciting matches setting the stage for the upcoming quarterfinals.

In the opening match, Nitsyan FC cruised to a comfortable 3-0 victory over Tsumang FC. Tiayas Deka was the star of the show, scoring twice in the 16th and 19th minutes. Gigas Deka added another in the 27th minute, securing the win for Nitsyan FC.

The second match saw Lower Senchum demolish Reserve XI 5-1. Khyobenthung was instrumental, scoring twice in the 4th and 28th minutes. Chechanthung (20), Mhalamo (54), and Nchumthung (57) also found the back of the net for Lower Senchum. The only consolation goal for Reserve XI came from Chonben Odyuo in the 51st minute.

In a thrilling contest between Mount Morashen Club (MMC) and N. Generation, MMC triumphed 6-3. Nongashio Odyuo netted a hat-trick with goals in the 45th, 62nd, and 69th minutes. Nzanbemo Ezung added a brace in the 58th and 68th minutes, while Cheniren Patton contributed with a goal in the 24th minute. Despite a spirited fightback from N. Generation, with goals from Vungthungo Kikon (35+), Benjamo Odyuo (37), and Zubenthung (64), the MMC attack proved too strong.

The final match of the day saw Old Changsu defeat Vungoju FC 3-0. Lavan Kithan was in scintillating form, scoring two goals in the 14th and 22nd minutes, while Suben Ngullie sealed the win with a goal in the 39th minute.

With the league matches concluded, attention now turns to the quarterfinals, which are set to take place on January 18:
