A Health Camp took place at the premises of Phom Church, Kohima on 16 October.

It was organized by the Phom Union Kohima in commemoration of World Sight Day 2022 under the National Health Mission (NHM), Nagaland.

The camp was held to bring health care services closer to the people as well as to promote healthy living among the people.

Held after the devotional service, the camp commenced with a prayer invoking the blessing of God by Associate Pastor H Paman.

The Health Camp provided free specialist services for gynaecology, dental, eye, medicine, pediatrics and non-communicable diseases (NCD) screening. Free medicines were also provided to the beneficiaries.

More than 400 people were treated in the health camp and 71 free spectacles were also given out.

The medical personnel who had rendered their service during the health camp were Dr Mereninla Senlem, Eye Surgeon & SPO NHM; Dr Imotemsu, Gynaecologist, NHAK; Dr Vikie-o Khrumo, Medicine Specialist NHAK; Dr Hoboto Chishi, GDMO, NHAK; Dr Angto Phom, Anaesthetist & Sr Specialist, NHAK; Dr Akatoli, Pediatrician, CHC Cheipobozou; Dr Manen Phom GDMO; Dr Ngailong Phom, Dental Surgeon.
