The Naga Students’ Federation (NSF) has constituted its Inner Line Regulation Commission (ILRC) and appointed Senchumo NSN Lotha to lead the five-member team.

In a press release, the NSF stated that the decision to set up the commission was made during the 4th NSF Federal Assembly held on 4 December 2024, “to counter the unabated inflow of illegal immigrants into our homeland; an existential threat that has endangered our identity, culture, and territorial rights.”

The functions of the ILRC include reviewing and strengthening existing regulatory measures, monitor, assess, and propose urgent legal and administrative reforms to fortify the protective barriers against this growing threat – in close coordination with all stakeholders and civil organizations to build a robust resistance against illegal settlements.

The five members of the Inner Line Regulation Commission (ILRC) are:

Senchumo NSN Lotha – Chairman

Kelhouneizo Yhome – Member

Hukavi Tokheho Yepthomi – Member

Imtiakum – Member

Seve R. Vadeo – Member
