Students of People’s College, Mokokchung, accompanied by two faculty members, have embarked on an educational tour to Meghalaya on March 18, 2025.  The tour, organized under the theme “Exploring Meghalaya”, is focussed to provide students with the opportunity to engage with the unique cultural, historical, and ecological heritage of the region.   21, 2025.

During the excursion, students will visit key locations in Meghalaya, including natural landmarks, cultural sites, and institutions of academic interest. The tour is also aimed to broaden the students’ horizons, foster camaraderie, and enhance their understanding of the diversity and richness of the North Eastern region.

A press release from the college stated that the initiative is funded by the Management Board of People’s College, highlighting the institution’s commitment to holistic education and support for student enrichment programs.
