Fashion enthusiasts in Mokokchung have reason to celebrate as KIKO Multibrand Outlet is set to open a new store in the heart of the town near Police Point, next to SBI ATM (NEMCHA Building), starting May 28.

The expansion follows the successful inauguration of the original outlet at Tongdentsuyong Ward on January 13, 2025. With overwhelming support from customers and a strong response from the local community, the KIKO team decided to bring their offerings to a more accessible location for the convenience of all.

Proprietor Ajungla L Imsong expressed her deep appreciation for the support shown so far and highlighted the brand’s unique identity. “‘KIKO’ is more than just a name—it represents joy and hope,” she explained. “‘KI’ stands for ‘home’ and ‘KO’ for ‘collections’ in the Ao dialect, symbolizing a house full of collections for our loved ones. The name also reflects Japanese and Spanish meanings like ‘joyful child’ and ‘noble home ruler.’”

KIKO’s newest outlet not only broadens fashion accessibility but also continues its commitment to local empowerment. “We are looking forward to employing five more staff members as we take this next step forward,” Ajungla added.

Ajungla also shared that the expansion aims to boost wholesale capacity and provide better accessibility for the common people. To enhance the shopping experience, Cash on Delivery (COD) services are available within Mokokchung, and the store remains open on all weekdays.

With more surprises and new fashion arrivals expected, KIKO invites customers to visit the new outlet and experience “a whole new level of fashion thrill.” Updates and product highlights can be followed on their Instagram account.
