In the interest of public service, the Governor of Nagaland has designated Deputy Commissioner, Revenue Officer & other Officers in the Office of the Deputy Commissioner not below the rank of Sub-Divisional Officer (SDO) as competent authorities to issue ‘Family Income Certificate’ upon the declaration made before the Notary Public for the ST students applying for CSS-Post Matric Scholarships under the Higher Education, Nagaland, Kohima with effect from the date of issue of this Notification.

The earlier Notification of this Department vide No. HTE/MISC/SCHO/1-150/2019 dated 25th November, 2024 stands null and void, the Department stated.

It has also been informed that the Notification has the clearance of Law & Justice Department vide U.O. No. 301 dated 23rd July, 2025.
