Two books titled, “The Drug Factory, a sequel to ‘The School of Bullies'” and “The Trio- Tuition Disaster” authored by Kuzo Kezo were formally released today by Rev Dr Kevekhalo Lasuh, Senior Pastor of Chakhesang Baptist Church Kohima at The Heritage Kohima.
Speaking at the launch, 14-year-old, Kuzo Kezo, who is currently studying in St. Mary’s Cathedral Higher Secondary School Kohima highlighted that “The Drug Factory” is about friendship, betrayal and adventure while the other book is also about friendship and adventure, infused with bravery and courage.
He also reflected on his young journey of writing which is fueled by his love for reading, writing and exploring new ways of writing books and characters to entertain himself as well as others.
Through the books he has authored, he hoped to help raise funds for missionaries to help those in need.
In her Publisher’s note, Vishü Rita Krocha impressed upon that book launches are indicative of the growth of writing that is evolving in the state.
She commended the author for having become an author of three books at a young age. His first book, “The School of Bullies” was also earlier published by PenThrill in 2023. She also exuded hope that he would continue to write and also more extensively explore the Naga way of life in his writing in the future.

Dr Rukulu Puro, Assistant Professor of Capital College Kohima & Chief Instructor, CUE Academy, Center of Writing Skills, gave comments on “The Drug Factory, a sequel to The School of Bullies” while Pfokreni Dominic, Teacher at St Mary’s Cathedral Higher Secondary School Kohima gave comments on “The Trio, Tuition Disaster”.
