The WSSO PHED Kiphire Division organized a sanitation drive at the periphery of Community Sanitation complexes and other assets as part of the Har Ghar Tiranga Campaign in Tethuyo and Phelungre villages.

The drive was led by the Consultant and staff of PHED, along with Council Committees, WATSAN Committees, Swachhagrahis, Self Help Groups (SHGs), Anganwadi workers, youth, and church members. Together, they cleaned compost pits, drainage areas, and community sanitary complexes in their respective villages.

The activity carried the theme “Har Ghar Tiranga – Har Ghar Swachhata”, highlighting the importance of both patriotism and cleanliness. Villagers were also encouraged to adopt safe sanitation practices, such as proper waste segregation, regular cleaning of public facilities, and avoiding open defecation to keep the environment healthy.
