Longtili C Sangtam, President of the Seyochung Village Students’ Union, called on the Chief Medical Officer, Kiphire, at the CMO office to seek updates on the proposed upgradation of the Seyochung Village Health and Wellness Centre (HWC) to a Primary Health Centre (PHC).

The CMO assured that the matter is progressing through the required systematic process. He further informed that a team will be deputed to Seyochung on August 16 for the National Quality Assurance Standards (NQAS) assessment — a key step towards improving healthcare infrastructure and services in the area.
