The District Hub for Empowerment of Women (DHEW) Shamator conducted a program on awareness of government schemes at Shamator College hall on Thursday.

The main objective of the programme was to sensitise and create awareness among the students about various welfare schemes and initiatives under DHEW particularly focusing on women and child welfare. The students actively interacted with the officials who shared information and clarified queries regarding the benefits and procedures of availing different schemes.

Besides awareness, students were also encouraged to act as ambassadors of the schemes within their communities.
