Governor of Nagaland, Ajay Kumar Bhalla has extended warm greetings to Sangtam brothers and sisters and to the people of Nagaland on the joyous occasion of the Mungmung Festival.
This festival, celebrated with devotion and gratitude, reflects the rich cultural traditions of the Sangtam community and their close bond with nature, the Governor said.
“It is a time to thank the Almighty for a bountiful harvest, to share in unity and to pray for peace and prosperity. May this Mungmung bring happiness, good health and abundant blessings to all,” he further stated.
Meanwhile, Rajya Sabha MP, S Phangnon Konyak has also extended greetings to the Sangtam community on the occasion of Mungmung Festival.
Conveying her best wishes, she said that the festival is a time of joy, prayer and thanksgiving and expressed hope that it will usher in peace, unity and a bountiful harvest.
