SSUK organizes Open Penalty Shootout competition

The Sangtam Students’ Union Kohima (SSUK) organized an Open Penalty Shootout Competition on September 6 at TM Ground, near Kohima College.

The program began with a welcome address by Longtili C Sangtam, President of SSUK, followed by an invocation prayer from Tsariba Sangtam, Youth Pastor, Sangtam Baptist Lithro Kohima.

A total of 29 teams took part in the competition, creating a spirited atmosphere filled with energy and sportsmanship. After a thrilling contest, Team Mez & Co emerged as the Champion, while Team Revo finished as the Runners-up. The award for Best Keeper went to Sedekhotuo Sote for his outstanding performance.

The program was organized in line with the Mungmung Festival get-together and as a fund-raising event for the upcoming Cultural Program on September 27 at the State Academy Hall, Kohima, along with other follow-up activities.

The Union expressed gratitude to Sangtam Union Kohima, Sangtam Baptist Lithro Kohima, Sangtam Baptist Lithro Kohima Youth Ministry, all Sangtam Village and Area Unions Kohima, Eastern Nagaland Unions, the participating teams, donors, officials, and everyone who worked tirelessly behind the scenes to make the event a grand success.
