The Nagaland Board of School Education (NBSE) has reminded all schools affiliated with it regarding the mandatory implementation of the APAAR ID (Automated Permanent Academic Account Registry ID) as the primary student identifier for every student.

According to an official bulletin, schools affiliated with the NBSE must ensure that every enrolled student is assigned a valid APAAR ID through the official UDISE-enabled portal; all student data, including academic records, transfers, assessments and co-curricular information must be mapped to the APAAR ID; compliance must be completed prior to the commencement of final term registrations for the academic session 2025-2026.
