The All Nagaland Private Schools’ Association (ANPSA), Chümoukedima Unit organized the Literary Competition 2025 on the theme “Exploring the Best of Mind and Creativity” on 26th September 2025 at Carmel Higher Secondary School, Chekiye Village.

The programme was held in two sessions – the Inaugural Programme and the Closing Programme chaired by Jessy, Assistant Teacher, Carmel School and Mhasino Kuotsu, Executive Member, ANPSA respectively. The event, attended by students, teachers, and school heads, featured various competitions showcasing students’ creativity and expression.

Speaking at the closing programme, Nini Sekhose, President, ANPSA Central, highlighted the importance of literary activities and the power of words. She congratulated participants and noted that such competitions build vocabulary, improve confidence, and help individuals express themselves effectively.

Quoting Proverbs 18:21, she said, “Death and life are in the power of the tongue,” urging students to use words wisely, as they can both bless and curse. She also acknowledged the efforts of the organizers and the enthusiasm of students, describing the event as an inspiring platform for young learners.
