The Pungro Sports Association (PSA) has expressed gratitude to MLA and Advisor, Fire and Emergency Services, Home Guards & Civil Defence and SDRF, Kiusumew for his generous contribution towards the preparation of the upcoming Inter-School Sports Meet 2025.
Kiusumew has willingly provided his JCB excavator and road roller for two days—October 1 and 2 to level and maintain the Public Ground at Pungro Town.
The Inter-School Sports Meet 2025, scheduled from October 8 to 11 will witness the participation of 3,711 students from eight schools in Pungro Town. This event is one of the biggest platforms for young talents to showcase their skills, discipline, and sportsmanship.

PSA said that for many years, it has been writing to the government for proper maintenance of the public ground, but the ground has remained in a dilapidated condition with the rostrum on the verge of collapse.
The Association said that Kiusumew, who has been a true supporter of sports and community development even before his election, has once again come forward out of his love for the people.
However, it said this temporary maintenance would only last for a short time.
PSA appealed to all political leaders and civil society organizations to join hands and put pressure on the government for early and permanent renovation of the public ground for the future of the youths.
