The 7^th and 8^th pre-quarter final matches of the ongoing 25^th NSF Martyrs’ Memorial trophy were held on October 9 at the I.G Stadium, Kohima. Kuki United and Anal Lenruwl Tangpi secured their spot for the quarter finals.

In the 7^th pre-quarter final match between Delhi Police and Kuki United (KU), Lunaldo Kuki (Jersey no. 77) of KU scored two goals in the 23th and 48^th minutes. The match patron was Ketoulhou Metha, OSD, Finance Department, Government of Nagaland. Lunaldo Kuki was adjudged the Player of the Match, and the award was presented by Neisavotuo Whuorie, Vice President of the Angami Sports Association (ASA).

In the 8^th pre-quarterfinal, Anal Lenruwl Tangpi delivered a commanding 3-0 victory over Nagaland Police. Kagaly (30) opened the scoring in first-half injury time (45+3 minutes), while Winkle (11) secured a goal in the 61^st minute. Changkingam (9) scores the third goal in the 90^th minute.

The match patron was Vimhalie Pienyü, Councillor, Kohima Municipal Council who awarded the Player of the match to Winkle (11) of Anal Lenruwl Tangpi.
