In observance of World Mental Health Day, the Lions Club of Dimapur organized a Mental Health Awareness Seminar aimed at promoting mental well-being and spreading awareness to reduce the stigma associated with mental health issues on October 10 at St. Mary’s Higher Secondary School Auditorium.
Dr Althea S Wotsa, Consultant Psychiatrist, Faith Hospital & Institute of Medical Sciences, also, Co-Director, Mindbloom Wellness Centre was the resource person of the event. She also judged the painting competition on the same theme in the school premises.
President Lion Sanjay Jaiswal stated that the session ended with a Questionnaire Round where students cleared their doubts regarding mental health & awareness.

Under the chairmanship of Lion Dr Arihant Jain, the seminar saw an overwhelming participation of more than 300 students, who actively engaged in the session, making it meaningful and impactful.
