Kiphire held the first Nagaland Staff Selection Board (NSSB) exam on Friday in two allocated exam centres – Loyola Higher Secondary School and Government Higher Secondary School.
The NSSB exam for 600 Grade III posts was held in several districts of Nagaland.
According to sources, the total number of enrolled candidates in Kiphire district was 670.
Out of the 250 candidates expected to appear for the exam at Government Higher Secondary School, 224 were present on Friday while 26 candidates did not sit for the exam.
Out of the 420 expected candidates at Loyola Higher Secondary School, there were 54 absentees.

Binite Sangtam.
Speaking to Nagaland Tribune, young aspirant Binite Sangtam lauded the government for giving this opportunity to thousands of unemployed youths in Nagaland. He also mentioned that the second paper was tougher than the first.

Imtinaro.
Imtinaro, an invigilator from Government Higher Secondary School, said the exam on Friday was conducted in a fair and just manner. She said, as far as she could observe, all the candidates were disciplined in maintaining the decorum of exam. She wished them the very best.
