A training programme on “Agri-entrepreneurship opportunities cum exposure visit” was organized at the Krishi Vigyan Kendra (KVK), Dimapur on November 4 for students of Beanstalk School, Dimapur. The programme aimed to create awareness among school students about modern agricultural practices and to inspire them towards agri-based entrepreneurship.

The programme commenced with an introductory session, during which the students introduced themselves and shared their interests in agriculture and allied sectors. This was followed by a welcome and briefing session by Dr Phool Kumari, Senior Scientist & Head, KVK Dimapur, who highlighted the role of the Indian Council of Agricultural Research (ICAR) and elaborated on the mandates, objectives, and major activities of KVK Dimapur.

She emphasized the importance of agriculture as a sustainable career avenue and encouraged the students to explore opportunities in agri-entrepreneurship to contribute to the nation’s food security and rural development.
