The Anglers Association Mokokchung successfully conducted its 7th Annual General Meeting (AGM)-cum-Angling Event at Nukra Compound, Chuchuyimpang on November 8, which was attended by active participation from the members and nature enthusiasts.

Er Tonpangyanger, who attended the event as the special guest, conveyed his greetings to the association and commended its sustained efforts in promoting responsible angling and environmental awareness.

In his address, he underscored the importance of preserving river ecosystems and maintaining the balance of aquatic life, noting that the wellbeing of rivers directly reflects the wellbeing of the community.

The gathering also included discussions on enhancing conservation measures, adopting eco-friendly practices, and encouraging greater individual participation in angling activities.
