As part of the State-wide Mass Social Work initiated by the Government of Nagaland, a cleanliness and beautification drive was carried out across Dimapur district on November 12.
The social work in Dimapur was led by Dr Tinojongshi Chang, NCS, Deputy Commissioner of Dimapur, along with administrative officers, government employees, and volunteers from various departments, civil society organizations, and village councils.
During the drive, participants cleared roadside debris, cleaned public spaces and market areas.
The Deputy Commissioner appreciated the active participation of all stakeholders and encouraged the continuation of such community-led initiatives to keep Dimapur clean and beautiful.
Meluri:

As part of the upcoming Festive Season, with the objective of ensuring Cleanliness, enhancing hygiene and beautification of Meluri Town, a mass social work was conducted in all Schools, Offices and public Areas of Meluri, initiated by the Administrative Department, Meluri District on November 12.
Chumoukedima:

Along with the rest of the district, the Deputy Commissioner of Chümoukedima, Polan John (NCS), led a joint inspection along National Highway 29 up to the Chathe River Bridge during the district-wide mass social work held on November 12.
The mass social work was successfully conducted with the active participation of all government departments, the Chümoukedima Town Council, civil society organisations, and the general public. The collaborative effort reflected a strong sense of community spirit and civic responsibility aimed at maintaining cleanliness and improving the environment across the district.
Mokokchung:

As part of the preparations for the upcoming festive season, various departments under Mokokchung District participated in the mass social work organised under the directives from the Home Department, Govt. of Nagaland on November 12.
Medziphema:

In view of the upcoming festive season a mass social work was conducted at Medzipema Sub-division along with the rest of the state on November 12.
All building materials stacked on the road side were removed, Latrines, pig stays discharging their waste on the roadside were removed and demolished. The villages on the highway cleared all vegetation blocking roads along highways. Dividers along the Dimapur-Kohima were also cleaned.
All Government Offices, Institutions, Administration, Councilors, Village Councils, GB’s, Councilors, General Public, actively participated in this mass social work cleaning public spaces, Roads and Highways. A Team comprising Officers like EAC Medziphema, Principal IETC and Director Sameti Medzipema was also formed to oversee the event.

Tizit Sub-Division:

As part of the preparations for the festive season, a mass social work was carried out across Tizit sub-division on November 12.
Special focus was also given to clearing building materials stacked along roadsides, cleaning drainages, and ensuring proper signboards, dustbin and lighting for shops and business establishments.
As directed by the ADC Tizit, Relise Sangtam, residents across Tizit sub-division, employees of all government offices, institutions and other stakeholders actively participated by cleaning their respective offices and premises.
Mon:

In line with the Office memorandum of Home Department, Government of Nagaland as preparations for the upcoming festive season, a mass social work was initiated by the Deputy Commissioner Office Mon on November 12 at Mon Town.
During the social work, building materials stacked on the road sides were removed, waste on the road side was demolished, clearance of drainage, cleaning of weeds in the road side. Shopkeepers are advised to have proper signboards with proper lighting at night. They are also encouraged to repaint their shop buildings.
General public and the government employees actively participated in cleaning and beautification of Mon town.
Chiephobozou:
A mass social work was carried out on November 12 under Chiephobozou Sub- Division, Kohima
All the Departments, District Administration, Schools, institutions and Citizens of Chiephobozou and villages under its Sub-division took part in the State wide Mass social Work which was carried out to ensure cleanliness, enhance hygiene, and beautify public places and areas as part of preparations for the upcoming festive season.

Longleng:

District Administration Longleng organised a mass social work on November 12, where all Departments, Institutions, CSO and the citizens of Longleng District actively participated during the mass social work.
