The BJP 60 Kiphire–Pungro Mandal conducted the Atmanirbhar Bharat Sankalp Abhiyan – Vidhansabha Sammelan on November 14 at Hopongkyu Memorial Hall, Kiphire Town.
The Sammelan was graced by the Union Minister for Finance and Corporate Affairs, Nirmala Sitharaman, who delivered the keynote address. In her speech, she highlighted the importance of Atmanirbhar Bharat—Self-Reliant India—reaffirming the visionary mission of Prime Minister Narendra Modi to transform India into a global powerhouse by strengthening local industries and promoting indigenous products.
Minister, Temjen Imna Along encouraged karyakartas and the public to embrace and promote local products in their daily lives. The Swadeshi Pledge was administered by State Vice President and Convenor, Zaremo Kikon.

State Secretary and Co-Convenor, Pintu M Ghosh, briefed the gathering on the ongoing programmes, achievements, and initiatives being carried out under the Atmanirbhar Bharat Sankalp Abhiyan across the state.
The Sammelan also witnessed the presence of Minister Bashangmongba Chang, State Mahila President, Tsachola Rothrong, State Executive Member and Co-Convenor, Tafi Snock, Former Minister, Kashiho Sangtam, along with leaders, district functionaries, and Mandal karyakartas.
The meeting was chaired by Chumseli Anar, State Vice President, BJYM. Welcome Address was delivered by Tali C Sangtam, while the Vote of Thanks was proposed by Yangseo Sangtam, former Deputy Speaker and State Executive Member.
The BJP 60 Kiphire–Pungro Mandal extends its gratitude to all dignitaries, karyakartas, and attendees for their active participation and support in making the programme a grand success.
