The All Nagaland Taxi Association (ANTA) Wokha unit is all set to observe its Raising Day cum Annual Picnic on November 18 at “My Resort” in Tzuza Eru, Pangti. The event is being organized by the Sungro Range Taxi Owners and Drivers, promising a day of community bonding, fun activities and environmental responsibility.

Ina commitment to sustainability, the Unit would promote a plastic-free picnic by conducting a cleanup drive to remove plastic waste from the Tzuza Eru areas. The initiative would commence on November 17 and concluded on November 18, aligning with the Raising Day celebrations.

The day’s festivities would be marked by engaging activities, including a lucky draw, traditional tug-of-war, live music and more.

To ensure full participation, taxi services under the ANTA Wokha unit would be suspended on November 18. However, defaulters and absentees would face penalties in accordance with the Unit’s established guidelines, it warned.
