Oriental College Kohima and International University, Dimapur, Nagaland, signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) on December 5 for establishing a mutual and technical collaboration for advancement of higher education, research, and capacity building.

The MoU underscores the need to provide opportunities for students, faculty and researchers to engage in collaborative initiatives, thereby contributing to the educational and socio-economic development of Nagaland.

The collaboration would also cater to faculty and student exchange programmes, curriculum enrichment activities, resource sharing and academic excellence.

The agreement was signed by the Heads of the collaborating institutions Dr Watinaro Longkumer, Principal, Oriental College Kohima, Dr Kevizakielie Suokhrie, Vice Principal (Academics), Oriental College Kohima and Prof Zavise Rume, Director (Vocational Studies) International University, Nagaland and Prof (Dr.) Dipak Kumar Shukla, Vice Chancellor, International University, Nagaland.
