As part of the ongoing outreach activities of the Indian Navy in the Northeastern states, a motivational lecture on Careers in the Navy was delivered on 18 November in Kohima.

530 students of Ruzhukhrie GHSS and Thenuovicha Memorial GHSS attended the interaction, arranged in association with the State Education Department.

As part of the outreach in the Northeast, the Indian Navy is organising a variety of activities including medical camps, motivational interaction with students, motorcycle expedition, sporting events and participation in Hornbill Festival, among others.

During the interaction, the students were briefed about various career opportunities in the Navy and were encouraged to join the Naval Service. Videos on the Indian Navy and training at the Indian Naval Academy were also screened during the interaction.

Interaction with school students was held in Dimapur earlier on 16 November.
