A meeting has been scheduled to discuss the visitation of institutions and homes, along with the distribution of sweets at the Parade Ground, as part of the Republic Day Celebration 2026 in Kohima.
According to an official communication issued by the Office of the Deputy Commissioner, Kohima, the meeting will be held on January 16 at 11 a.m. at the DC’s Conference Hall, Kohima.
The meeting aims to coordinate activities related to the Republic Day celebration to be observed on January 26, with particular focus on community outreach initiatives and public participation.
In this connection, various non-governmental organizations (NGOs) based in Kohima have been requested to attend the meeting positively. The invited organizations include the Nagaland Contractors & Suppliers Union, Puliebadze Club, Lions Club, Royal Club, Classic Club, Rotary Club, Gorkha Public Panchayat Kohima, Hindu Kalyan Samithi Kohima, Indian Red Cross Society Nagaland State Branch, Kohima Chamber of Commerce & Industry, Kohima Masjid Committee, and the Nagaland Motorcycle Club.

The Office of the Additional Deputy Commissioner, Tening has informed all Heads of Offices and Heads of Educational Institutions that a coordination meeting is scheduled on January 16 at 12:00 noon at the Conference Hall, ADC Office, Tening to discuss preparations for upcoming 77th Republic Day celebration.
All concerned have been directed to attend the meeting positively. Heads of Offices are also instructed to submit a duly signed list of staff under their respective establishments.
The circular was issued by Ihoilung Chulo, NCS, Extra Assistant Commissioner, on behalf of the Additional Deputy Commissioner, Tening.
