Governor of Nagaland, Ajay Kumar Bhall has extended warm greeting to the Kuki community on the auspicious occasion of Mimkut festival.
In his message, the Governor said the festival, celebrated after the harvest, is a solemn expression of gratitude for nature’s bounty and a time-honoured occasion to remember ancestors, renew social bonds, and reaffirm shared values.
He wished that the festival inspire unity, harmony, and collective responsibility, and also usher in peace, prosperity, and well-being for all.
Rajya Sabha MP, S Phangnon Konyak has also extended warm greetings to the brothers and sisters of the Kuki community on the auspicious occasion of the Mimkut festival.

Highlighting Mimkut as a significant post-harvest festival, the MP expressed hope that the celebration strengthens the bonds of unity and well-being among all, while continuing to preserve and promote the rich cultural heritage of the Kuki community. She conveyed her best wishes for peace, prosperity, and happiness, and prayed for God’s blessings upon all.
