In view of the ensuing Republic Day Celebration on January 26 within the jurisdiction of Dimapur Commissionerate, Commissioner of Police Dimapur, Aotula T Imchen has initiated security measures and declared the area within a radius of 2 (two) kms at Dimapur DDSC Stadium, Chumoukedima Samaguting Stadium and Niuland Public Ground as “Red Zone” (No Fly Zone) from 2 a.m. of January 26 till 6 p.m. of January 26, 2026.

The Commissioner of Police said no person would operate a Drone/Remotely Piloted Aircraft (RPA) in the Red Zone without prior permission of the competent authority.

The Commissioner of Police said the order has been passed ex-parte due to security exigency as it cannot be served individually on all concerned.
