Hands-on training under cluster development on February 17 at Wokha

In continuation of the ongoing activities under the Cluster Development Programme in collaboration with CSIR-NEIST Jorhat, Assam, a Hands-on Training Programme would be held on February 17 at 10:30 a.m. in the Deputy Commissioner’s Conference Hall, Wokha.

The training will focus on two key themes: Medicinal, aromatic and floriculture crops — scientific plantation, post-harvest management, and handholding support, and Beekeeping (apiculture) — scientific farming practices, post-harvest management, and allied activities.

Following the training, quality planting materials will be distributed to selected farmers and beneficiaries.

Officials, farmers, entrepreneurs, and selected beneficiaries have been requested to attend the programme positively. The initiative aims to promote scientific farming practices, enhance productivity, and provide practical support to local farmers under the Cluster Development Programme.
