The All Nagaland Adhoc Teachers Group 2015 batch (ANATG) has affirmed continuation of its protest indefinitely until their demands are fulfilled.
In response to the Department of School Education (DoSE)’s clarification on February 18, the group stated that despite compliance of its members in submitting all valid and available service documents, repeated circulars have been issued.
“To this, the ANATG feels that issuing these circulars have become habitual tactic just to delay their matter. It may also be pertinent to put on record that, the staffs at the department handling the files submitted by the ANATG are being mismanaged and mishandled,” asserted the group.
In a press release issued on February 18, the ANATG 2015 media cell informed that a general meeting was held on February 18 at the NSF Solidarity Park, Kohima. The meeting was held to discuss and deliberate all the developments that have taken place specially after the meeting which was called upon by the Government at the Directorate of School Education on February 17.
A district wise meeting was held where polling of views and opinions was conducted by the Core Committee, following which resolutions were taken
On incomplete documents as stated by the Government, the ANATG clarified that its members, since 2024, have been submitting all necessary documents as directed and instructed by the Government/Department for the service regularization. “Referring to all such directives and notifications it has been found that, it is the third time that some members have been asked to submit the same documents. The latest of such notifications being given out on February 16,” argued the group.
With the past documents submitted at the Directorate of School Education, the ANATG stated that it “cannot help but wonder about the status of the documents that were submitted in the past twice”.
It further maintained that some documents such as sanction post order number, appointment order and release order of the previous incumbents are mostly untraceable. According to the group, the Department/ Government being the employing authority had checked and verified all these documents during their appointment. “Moreover, being the custodian of all the records and documents, the members have tried tracing the requirements at the office, however they were told that many of those records were incinerated during the ULB election protest when the Education Office was burnt down. The ANATG members feel that they are being asked to provide and submit documents which some of them may never be able to produce,” highlighted the ANATG 2015.

Drawing attention to the certification issued by the Principal Director, Department of School Education on June 27, 2025, “The Department has verified and ensured that the details of all the contract and adhoc employees appointed prior to 06.06.2016 and against Sanctioned Post have been submitted.”, the group sought validation and the credibility of the certification.
The group also pointed out to the recent February 12 circular which instructed the submission of three more certificates, in which one requirement was the APAR for the last five years. “In this regard, it has always been maintained by the respective DEOs/SDEOs that APAR is a only for/of the Regular Employees. As such the members have never been bothered for the maintenance and keeping of the APAR,” stated the group.
It also cited eight circulars from 2024 to 2026 issued by DoSE for document submission which it claimed were complied by its members.
“In all these circulars, the ANATG members have complied by submitting all the valid and available service documents. However, despite of the compliances, numerous circulars are being issued to this day with some of the same members in the list,” asserted the group.
In the light of the facts and proofs presented, the members of the February 18 meeting unanimously decided to continue the democratic protest indefinitely till their demand is fulfilled. It further cautioned of “possibilities of intensification as may be decided by the members”.
