A space for all aspirants, the Kairos Study Space by Carewell under the motto “The time is now” was inaugurated today at Kohima A1 City Bazar Kezieke.
Atosheli Sema, Deputy Secretary Science and Technology who graced the inaugural as the Special Guest reminisced on the past where competitive exam during their days were not without challenges. Often, aspirants in the past lacked the facilities and resources that are crucial for focused study.
“It was during that time I had a dream- a dream of a dedicated space where the student could immerse themselves in their studies without the hindrance of external disruptions. A place where dream could be nurtured and aspirations could take a fly,” stated Sema.
Coming from a competitive exam background , Sema shared empathy towards the struggles of aspirants, their aspirations and burning desire to excel. With this understanding and believe, Sema hoped that the study space will help and benefit aspiring students.
Dr.Beheungausile Samsi, Carewell Administrator highlighted that Kairos Study Space is an inspiration from an ancient Greek word Kairos that means the opportune time or the right time. “We must always embrace the chance and the opportunity at its best, be it in the service for God, competitive exams, entrepreneuship or business,” stated Dr. Samsi.
Sharing her experiences, Dr. Samsi stated that during her preparation for Post Graduate in Dental Surgery at home, with all the social involvements and festive season at home, it became very difficult to develop discipline and focus in her studies. “I wanted to enroll myself to quiet library /study space with flexible time available till evening but could not find any study space in Kohima and realised the urgent need for a study space in Kohima. This is how we came up with the Kairos Study Space for all students aspiring for any competitive exam,” stated Dr. Samsi.

Tonikali Awomi, Administrator of Carewell’s Study Space Dimapur in her speech mentioned that the Dimapur Study Space has witnessed a promising trajectory since its inception in 2022. Stating that aspirants has brought great laurels in various central and state level examination, Awomi noted that the Space steadily built a vibrant community of readers and scholars, and further expressed confidence that the new branch will also hold true to this vision. The program was earlier blessed with invocation by Zashekho Hibo, Associate Pastor, Koinonia Church.
Kairos Study Space is open for any competitive exams, NEET, NEET-PG ,NPSC, NSSB aspirants to study and motivate each other with the spirit of competition. With nominal fees, the library will also provide Newspapers, Magazine and all the important journals and books required for competitive exams. It which will be open from 7:00 am to 7:00 pm.
