MLA Benei M Lamthiu, on December 5, stated that absentee government employees in their places of posting is one main cause of negligence of development in underserved areas. “The irresponsibility of the employees who neglects to serve in their appointed posting places, becomes the reason for downfall of improvements and developments,” said the MLA during the inauguration of the Medical Staff Quarter- Health and Wellness center at Tsuwao village.
The Quarter was inaugurated in the presence of Dr. Victor, Chief Medical Officer Noklak District HQ and Kathyinla EAC Noklak, at Tsuwao Village under Noklak District.
During the event, the MLA also pointed out that several medical sub – centers still lies incomplete for years, in villages of underserved areas. Lamthiu adviced the community to rightly seize and make use of the governmental schemes with the right guidance and direction from the concerned departments. Although a small village, Tsuwao is an example for other neighbouring villages, stated Lamthiu.
The MLA also reaffirmed his commitment to his constituency during the gathering highlighting roles such as inspections to schools and medical centres and carrying out the necessities in his first journey since winning the election. He also emphasised that Education is his first priority, and assured to serve his people in this regard.

The MLA also flagged off the Viksit Bharat Sanklap Yatra ( VBSY) IEC Van for Panso and Thonoknyu subdivisions at Tsuwao Village which was earlier officially launched by Arikumba , Deputy Commisioner Noklak at Noklak HQ.
The IEC van conducted onestep camps at Tsuwao and Lengnyu Villages under Panso EAC circle.
VBSY is a nationwide campaign launched by the central government with a view to achieve 100 percent saturation of government schemes. The van will tour all the sub division in the district in the next one month.
