The Office of the Additional Deputy Commissioner, Akluto, has issued a public notice informing residents of VK Town under Zunheboto district about the commencement of an ongoing road widening project along the NH-02 stretch from Doyang to Izheto.

According to the notice, households and building owners in VK Town whose properties have already been compensated and officially marked by the PWD (NH) Department in coordination with the district administration on March 19, 2026, have been given a period of 45 days from the date of issuance to vacate their premises. They have also been directed to remove all personal belongings and structures within the stipulated time to facilitate smooth execution of the project.

The notice further stated that the PHED and Power Department have been requested to carry out utility shifting work simultaneously to avoid delays in the project.

The directive has been issued for necessary compliance by all affected residents and concerned departments within the NH-02 stretch in VK Town. The administration has urged cooperation from the public to ensure timely completion of the road widening work.
